Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rhys Cao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blade Toorop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Toorop's choice of entrance music: Rasputin. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cao scores with a punch to the head.
Toorop shoots and misses
and Cao counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Toorop keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Cao.
Cao displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Toorop.
Cao keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Rhys Cao has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Blade Toorop.
Cao misses with an uppercut. Toorop saw that one coming.
Cao swings for the body but Toorop moves out of range.

Toorop tries for a takedown but Cao sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Toorop ducks under a wild hook from Cao.
Cao lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Toorop circles away quickly and effectively.

Toorop shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Cao as he jumps to the side.

Cao throws a lazy right hand but Toorop sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Cao throws a right hand that Toorop ducks under and follows up with a left that Toorop also avoids with ease.
Toorop moves out of range as Cao strikes.

and Cao counters with a left to the body.
Cao scores with a crisp jab that stopped Toorop in his tracks.
Toorop looks up at the clock. Bad move! Cao lands a right hand from hell, dropping Toorop. Cao pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rhys Cao!

Rhys Cao really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that MMA ANIMAL logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
