Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Volk Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randal Rambo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Randal Rambo is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khan circles away from the clinch attempt.
Khan looks to land a right hand but Rambo moved out of range.

Khan decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Khan goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Rambo turns into him and now he's in Khan's guard.

Khan isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Rambo stacks Khan on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Rambo!

Khan flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Rambo thows a huge punch but Khan dodges it nicely.

Rambo wants to lay and pray for a moment but Khan keeps working.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Khan shoots in but no luck this time.
Rambo lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Rambo.
Rambo scores with the left hand. Khan knows he should have avoided that one.
Rambo looks to land a combination but Khan avoids it well.

Khan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rambo swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Khan is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Khan tries to free his leg and advance position but Rambo is retaining full guard.
Khan stands and throws Rambo's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Khan tries to score with some ground and pound. Rambo controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Khan swings around for an armbar but Rambo sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Khan's guard.

Khan has his foot on Rambo's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Rambo works his way back into a safe position though.
