Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tony Macmillan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johan Nickson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Macmillan scores with a takedown into Nickson's guard.
Macmillan looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

Nickson not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Macmillan drops back looking for a leg! Nickson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Nickson manages to kick Macmillan off! Macmillan jumps back into Nickson's guard.
Nickson wants to stand but Macmillan is controlling the position.

Nickson throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Macmillan blocks it with crossed arms.

Macmillan drags the fight down to the ground.

Macmillan kicks Nickson off and gets to his feet.

Macmillan looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Nickson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Macmillan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Macmillan wants to work for an arm triangle but Nickson is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Nickson can do anything to dispel that myth.

Nickson is trying to control but can't.

Macmillan has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Nickson defend it? Macmillan steps over the head and cranks it - Nickson is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Macmillan!
