Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dog Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Jorge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jorge has chosen Back in black as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Penn closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Penn manages to break the clinch.
Penn darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Penn is looking to clinch.
Penn tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jorge was well out of range. Poor timing from Penn.
Jorge throws a right hand that Penn ducks under and follows up with a left that Penn also avoids with ease.

and Jorge counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Penn!
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Penn is desperately trying to improve his position but Jorge has a good base and remains in mount.

James Jorge has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Penn throws out a loose jab but Jorge uses good head movement to avoid it.
Penn looks to land a combination. Jorge sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Penn moves in looking to clinch but Jorge pushes him off.
Penn misses with a straight left.

Penn changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jorge tries to avoid it but Penn manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jorge to the ground. Jorge escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Jorge drops back, looking for a kneebar! Penn looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Penn looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Penn!

That was a close second round but I would say that Dog Penn will probably get the nod.

Jorge drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Penn gets the underhooks and prevents it.
