Tsung comes to the cage accompanied by Mortal Kombat Theme. Kong has chosen GIANT KONG as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kong moves out of range of the body kick from Tsung.
Kong cracks Tsung with a good jab.

It looks like Shang Tsung has been cut.
Tsung tries a head kick but it misses.

Kong drives through with a takedown into guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Kong throws a big elbow that misses.
Tsung is trying to keep Kong in close.

Tsung utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kong accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Kong is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Tsung is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Tsung knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kong on the ground.
Tsung is looking for a sweep. Kong is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Kong thows a huge punch but Tsung dodges it nicely.
Kong not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Tsung is looking to improve his position.

Kong is looking for a kimura but Tsung is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Kong to get the leverage.
Kong wants to control but Tsung is keeping him busy.
Kong not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Tsung is trying to control but Kong passes into side control!

Kong is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Tsung has escaped the position, nice work there.
Kong misses with the ground and pound.

Tsung on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Tsung tries to get out of the position.

Kong is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Tsung is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Kong lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Tsung down.

Kong trying to control the action but Tsung is working from the bottom.

Kong looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Tsung is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Kong is controlling him well.
Kong is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Kong working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

Shang Tsung's cut is getting worse.
Kong has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Kong has knee on belly and moves into mount.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Kong is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Tsung is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Tsung flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Kong anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Tsung and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Kong slips an arm under Tsung chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Kong has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Kong is squeezing on Tsung like an anaconda would it's prey. Tsung fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Giant Kong!
