Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Wes Miles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Ryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Miles comes to the cage accompanied by Kings of Leon - Closer. Ryan comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Girlfriend kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Jake Ryan told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ryan ducks under a wild hook from Miles.
Miles will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Ryan tries to close the distance and clinch but Miles swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Miles lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Still in half guard, Miles seems content to control.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Jake Ryan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ryan is trying to hold Miles in close to prevent damage but Miles has managed to pass into half guard.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Wes Miles.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Miles, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
