Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Giorgio Valentino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cumin Getsum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cumin Getsum!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Dean Styles and David Schapiro.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valentino looks to land a right hand but Getsum moved out of range.
Valentino throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Getsum shoots in and drives through. Valentino sprawls well.

Getsum shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Valentino manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Getsum is fighting to break Valentino's control of his arms but Valentino is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Getsum drops back looking for a leg! Valentino is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Valentino manages to kick Getsum off! Getsum jumps back into Valentino's guard.
Getsum won't allow Valentino to sweep him here.

Getsum thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Getsum trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Valentino wants to sweep here but Getsum controlling him for the moment.
Valentino knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Getsum on the ground.

Getsum drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Valentino manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Getsum has Valentino in his guard.

Getsum has his foot on Valentino's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Valentino works his way back into a safe position though.

Valentino gets to his feet - Getsum follows without any prompting.
Getsum changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Valentino tries to avoid it but Getsum manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Valentino to the ground. Valentino escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Cumin Getsum seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Valentino connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Getsum momentarily.
Valentino scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Valentino throws a jab but it's blocked by Getsum.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nice straight punches there by Valentino. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Valentino.

Getsum takes a jab right on the kisser.
A bone on bone clash there as Getsum blocks the leg kick.
Valentino throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Getsum colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Valentino as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Getsum is left battered and dazed whilst Valentino and his camp cheer!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Giorgio Valentino!
