The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guido lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Guido.
It looks like Cantrell Willis has been cut.
Willis avoids the body shot from Guido.
Paulo Guido seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Guido attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Willis throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Willis has his takedown stuffed
and Willis takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Guido explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Guido throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Willis stumbling backwards into the cage! Willis bounces back off the cage towards Guido, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Guido lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Guido celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Paulo Guido!
