Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Van Sant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Cantwell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Van Sant comes into the arena with Amino blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tyler Van Sant!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Steve Cantwell!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Reed Andrews and Eddie Farnsworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Sant lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Cantwell circles away quickly and effectively.
Cantwell is looking to clinch but Van Sant is avoiding it.
Van Sant changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cantwell tries to avoid it but Van Sant manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cantwell to the ground. Cantwell escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Cantwell stuffs the takedown attempt from Van Sant. Van Sant gets slowly back to his feet.
Cantwell tries to clinch but Van Sant moves out of range.
