The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Volkoff looks for a takedown but Rosov sprawls well.
Rosov looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Volkoff shoots in but Rosov avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Rosov moves forwards but Volkoff connects with a nice, crisp jab.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Volkoff enables Rosov to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Volkoff manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Rosov is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Volkoff defends it well.

Rosov wants to stand but Volkoff is controlling his posture from full guard.

Volkoff escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rosov gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

That's time! Rosov's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Volkoff shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Rosov sprawls well. Rosov wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Volkoff gets slowly back to his feet.

Rosov pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Volkoff is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Rosov really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Volkoff is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Rosov gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Volkoff is trying to trip Rosov. He has hold of a leg but Rosov is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Volkoff persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Rosov tries to control Volkoff's body but Volkoff pushes him off. Rosov squirms to his side and now Volkoff has his back!

Volkoff is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Rosov with him. Rosov is trying to defend but Volkoff has an arm under the chin now! Rosov grimaces and is forced to tap out!
