Silva's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Thunderstruck by AC/DC. st nkoi has chosen number one as his entrance music. George st nkoi has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Andy Silva's chin.

The judges for this bout are James Glass, James Atkins and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
st nkoi shoots in looking for a takedown. Silva tries to sprawl out of it but st nkoi keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Silva manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
st nkoi takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Silva throws a quick inside leg kick.
Silva lands a jab to the head.
Silva pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Silva tries a low kick but st nkoi avoids it.
Silva throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by st nkoi.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

No luck for st nkoi with that takedown attempt.
Silva lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

st nkoi shoots for a double leg takedown but Silva sprawls well. He's pushed st nkoi's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

st nkoi is trying desperately to land a takedown but Silva is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for st nkoi.

st nkoi looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Silva has picked st nkoi up and slammed him! st nkoi can't keep hold of the triangle and Silva manages to pass to side control!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
st nkoi steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Silva. That one must have hurt.

st nkoi jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Silva throws a leg kick but st nkoi sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Silva lands a big head kick that sends st nkoi tumbling to the mat! Silva takes a step backwards and waves st nkoi back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Silva fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt st nkoi.
