Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Justin Textmark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Quick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Quick's choice of entrance music: Indestructible, by Disturbed. Justin Textmark could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Nick Quick's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, William Gold and Donald Grub.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Textmark connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Textmark looks to throw the jab but Quick is out of range.

Textmark closes the distance and pushes Quick back into the cage.
Textmark tries for a takedown. No joy.

Quick breaks the clinch.
Quick comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Quick moves in looking to clinch but Textmark pushes him off.

Quick clinches up with Textmark and pushes him back against the cage.

Textmark turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Textmark manages to end up in side control.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Textmark tries for a kimura but Quick is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Quick is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Textmark tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Textmark has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Textmark is trying to ground and pound but Quick uses the momentary lack of control by Textmark to regain half guard.

It looks like Justin Textmark has been cut.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

and Quick counters with a thumping low kick.

Textmark has taken the fight to the clinch.
Quick tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Quick prevents a takedown attempt there.

Quick pulls guard effortlessly.
Quick is pulling down on Textmark's head. It's preventing any offense from Textmark, at least for the moment.
Quick not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Quick looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Nice takedown defense from Quick. No joy for Textmark on that attempt.
Quick leaves Textmark with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Quick wants to clinch up but Textmark keeps it at a distance.

and Quick counters with a nice uppercut.
Quick tries to close the distance and clinch up but Textmark swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Textmark ducks right into an uppercut from Quick.
Textmark looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Textmark shoots in for a takedown but Quick shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Justin Textmark. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Quick is looking to clinch.
Quick misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Textmark.

Quick shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Textmark manages to pull guard.

Textmark has his foot on Quick's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Quick works his way back into a safe position though.
Nick Quick has got the better of the ground game so far.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Quick postures up.
Quick is pushing down on Textmark's leg trying to pass to half guard. Textmark is fighting to maintain full guard but Quick has managed to sneak the leg through.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Textmark is trying desperately to improve position.
Textmark is bucking up trying to escape but Quick cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Quick is working for a guillotine from mount but Textmark frees his head quite easily.

Quick goes for an armbar but Textmark turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Textmark.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Textmark wants to pass the guard but Quick is keeping the position.

Textmark has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Quick to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Textmark is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Quick pulls down on the head and he's put Textmark to sleep! This one is all over!
