The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Deupreaux lands a two punch combo.
Deupreaux has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Deupreaux there as he acknowledges the shot.
Kane fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Deupreaux blocks a leg kick.
Deupreaux takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A punch combination from Deupreaux misses.
Deupreaux throws a right and a left that both miss.
Kane goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

It looks like Jacques Deupreaux has been cut.
Kane fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Deupreaux manages to avoid it.
Deupreaux is looking to clinch but Kane is avoiding it.
Deupreaux blocks a low kick nicely.
Deupreaux swinging wildly here.
Kane tries to land a front kick but Deupreaux steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Kane lands a two punch combo.

Kane knocks Deupreaux to the floor with a head kick! Can he finish him!?

Deupreaux is rocked!

Kane moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Deupreaux is looking for a sweep.

Deupreaux seems to have recovered his senses.

Kane has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Deupreaux is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Kane yanks on the arm and Deupreaux is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Kane.
