Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gunnar Bjornsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wilhelm Louis Stern (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stern on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Bjornsson misses with a straight left.
Bjornsson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Stern uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Bjornsson.
Stern moves out of range of the strikes.
Stern lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Stern closes the distance and clinches up with Bjornsson, looking for a takedown. Stern pushes Bjornsson against the cage but Bjornsson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Stern does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Bjornsson throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Stern blocks it with crossed arms.

Bjornsson unloads a knee to the mid-section. Stern lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

Bjornsson is looking to control Stern's arms but Stern gets an underhook and turns him. Now Bjornsson has his back to the cage.

Wilhelm Louis Stern seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bjornsson scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Stern finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Bjornsson's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Stern falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
