Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jin Woo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Slug Bert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Woo comes to the cage accompanied by Papercut. Jin Woo has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Woo is not in a great position here, taking some shots.

The referee asks Bert politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Bert prefers to stall for the moment though.

Woo gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Bert to score an easy takedown into full guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Jin Woo just wasn't active enough.
Woo catches Bert with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Bert leaves Woo with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Bert shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Woo misses with a straight left.
Woo throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Woo fails to land with a series of punches.
Woo throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.

Bert decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Woo pushes Bert off looking to stand but Bert dives back in and keeps control.
Still in half guard, Bert seems content to control.
Bert works his way into side control.
Woo is working to avoid the ground and pound but Bert connects with a decent elbow.

Woo prevents Bert from moving into mount.

Bert cracks Woo with a big right hand but Woo just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Bert takes a little break here. Woo wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Bert shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Woo is trying to defend but Bert finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Bert feints and as Woo raises his hands in defense, Bert changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Woo utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Slug Bert decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
