The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodriguez shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Randleman counters with a left and a right that stings Rodriguez.
Rodriguez fails with the takedown
and Randleman counters with a crisp one two that drops Rodriguez! Randleman thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Rodriguez to his feet! Rodriguez is in big trouble!
Rodriguez is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rodriguez tries for a takedown but Randleman circles away easily
and Randleman counters with a slapping leg kick.
Kev Kev Randleman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Riko Rodriguez.
