Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mikko Ralcha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ilya Orlov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ilya Orlov has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ralcha darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Orlov is trying to control but can't.

Ralcha is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Orlov defends it well.

Ralcha is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Orlov doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Ralcha.
Well, if Ralcha is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Orlov is trying to maintain the position but Ralcha is very close to passing his half guard.
Orlov moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Ralcha controls from within his opponent's guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Orlov is pressing down on Ralcha's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Orlov wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Ralcha is now in half guard.
Orlov gets back to full guard.
Ralcha really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Ralcha would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Ralcha has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Orlov pulls Ralcha in close to prevent any damage.
Ralcha is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Mikko Ralcha wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Ralcha lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Ralcha lands with a kick to the temple. Orlov shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

It looks like Ilya Orlov has been cut.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Ralcha misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Mikko Ralcha seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ralcha avoids a punch combination nicely.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Left hook, right uppercut from Orlov.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ralcha closes this distance looking for a takedown but Orlov circles away.
A head kick misses from Ralcha.
Orlov doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Ralcha counters with a big head kick but Orlov shrugs it off.
Orlov looks gassed!
Ralcha throws a head kick but Orlov moves out of range.
Ralcha moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Orlov clinches up against the cage.
A knee to the head by Ralcha.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Ralcha is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Orlov is working for takedown but Ralcha is calmly controlling the position for now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

A solid body kick from Ralcha.
Orlov tries for a takedown but Ralcha sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
A head kick from Ralcha lands but Orlov takes it in his stride.

Ralcha lands a big head kick that sends Orlov tumbling to the mat! Ralcha takes a step backwards and waves Orlov back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Orlov is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Ralcha shoots in for a takedown. Oh, that's a huge slam! Orlov is on queer street and Ralcha is pounding down on him with a barage of strikes. The ref is forced to step in and stop the fight. Great finish!
