Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Patrick Alders and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Judo tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Santos paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Santos misses with a body shot.
Judo takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Hanzo Judo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Santos keeps the fight on the outside.
Santos swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Judo.
It looks like Hanzo Judo has been cut.
A right-left combo lands from Santos.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Judo looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Santos!
Santos defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Judo.
Judo trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Santos is trying to escape the mount but Judo keeps good control and instead manages to take Santos's back.
Judo has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.
Santos trying to control the action but Judo just sinks the hooks in.

Judo keeps control of the position as Santos tries to break free.
Santos breaks Judo's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Judo looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Santos has picked Judo up and slammed him! Judo can't keep hold of the triangle and Santos manages to pass to side control!
Judo tries to buck Santos off but Santos is having none of it.
Santos is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Judo is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Santos is trying to get an arm triangle but Judo is defending well.

Santos is looking to take a break and control but Judo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Judo is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Santos uses his free foot to push down on Judo's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Judo.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Judo is looking to control Santos's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Judo avoid being mounted?
Santos frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Santos's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Santos tries to control but Judo wriggling away.

Santos prevents Judo from improving his position.

Santos looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Santos is looking to take a break and control but Judo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Judo gets full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Santos circles away from the clinch attempt.
Judo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Santos swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Judo is looking to clinch.
Judo takes one to the side of the head.
Alvaro Ibanez Santos seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Judo fails in his attempt to clinch.
Santos manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Judo on his heels. He'll look to pass Judo's guard now, I'm sure.

Judo is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Hanzo Judo overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Santos avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Santos pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Judo is keeping the position for now.
Santos thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Judo can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Santos controls the pace.
Judo has his foot on Santos's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Santos works his way back into a safe position though.
Judo has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Santos is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Judo.

Judo is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Santos's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Santos's back!
I really don't envy Santos right now.

Judo working for a triangle but Santos defends it easily.
Santos controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Judo wants to sweep here but Santos controlling him for the moment.
Santos wants to control from the top but Judo keeps moving.
Santos looking to sit in guard and control but Judo gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Santos pushes a forearm under Judo's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Judo is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
