Mursu's entrance music is Someday I'll be the Champ. A fine choice. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Filipovic lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Filipovic throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

so Mursu counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Mursu postures up and lands a big shot to Filipovic's brow.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Mursu passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Filipovic managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Mursu.

Mursu is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Filipovic has escaped the position, nice work there.

Mursu is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Filipovic looks calm but he's in trouble here. Mursu gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Filipovic is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Mursu lets go of the hold and Filipovic can pop his arm back in it's socket.

A very excited looking Ilkka Mursu rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
