Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Viktor Kafka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Semmy Kasteel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kafka comes to the cage accompanied by Welcome to the Jungle. The crowd seem to be enjoying Kasteel's choice of entrance music: Celtic Music. Semmy Kasteel acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Semmy Kasteel!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Kafka.
Kasteel thuds his right hand into Kafka's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Kafka shoots in for a double leg but Kasteel sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Kafka swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kasteel connects with a leg kick. Kafka looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Kasteel throws a low kick, looking for Kafka's leg but Kafka calmly moves out of range.

It looks like Viktor Kafka has been cut.

Kafka tries to land a front kick but Kasteel steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Kafka closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Kasteel quickly recovers to half guard.

Kafka looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kafka is trying to control the action in half guard but Kasteel is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kasteel can do anything to dispel that myth.

We're going to have a standup here because Viktor Kafka wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Kafka throws a body punch but Kasteel moves out of range.
Kasteel loads up on a big right hand but Kafka slips the punch.
Kasteel tries a head kick but it misses.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Semmy Kasteel dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Viktor Kafka's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Kasteel really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kafka. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

That's time! Back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Kafka lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Kafka is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Kasteel is defending well.
Kafka is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Kafka has had enough of the clinch but Kasteel keeps him there for the moment.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Kafka counters with a right hand to the body.

A left lands for Kafka.
Kasteel moves in looking to clinch but Kafka pushes him off.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Kasteel crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Kafka - the referee stops the clock and Kasteel gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Kafka. Kasteel manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Kafka feints and then cracks Kasteel's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kasteel down.

Kafka manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Kasteel on his heels. He'll look to pass Kasteel's guard now, I'm sure.

Kafka thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Kasteel's head.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Kasteel tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
