Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Santino Carolla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rover Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Desperado by Los Lobos kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Gracie throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Carolla gets caught napping as Gracie dives in and scores a takedown. Carolla manages to retain guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Gracie trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Gracie thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Gracie passes Carolla's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Gracie is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
