PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Giri Essex (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ajzeler Kaizer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Essex comes to the cage accompanied by Wonderful Place. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ajzeler Kaizer!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Steven Brown and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kaizer gets in close and instigates a clinch.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kaizer is looking to take a break and control but Essex is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Kaizer shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Ajzeler Kaizer showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!


Essex lands with a nice combination. Kaizer backs away looking to recover.
Essex throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Essex swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Essex connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

Essex lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Kaizer at a distance.
Kaizer takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Kaizer closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Essex to the mat! Essex manages to get full guard.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Kaizer looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Giri Essex.
I think Kaizer has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
