Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jesse Bowes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Henry Hopkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Bowes might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to till I collapse- Eminem. Henry Hopkins has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, William Peck and Steve Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bowes takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Bowes takes one on the button.

Bowes closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Hopkins quickly recovers to half guard.
Bowes is looking to pass Hopkins's guard but actually Hopkins recovers to full guard.
Bowes wants to pass the guard but Hopkins is keeping the position.
Bowes working some strikes from top position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bowes accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bowes trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Bowes postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Hopkins is trying to keep Bowes in close.
Bowes stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hopkins swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Bowes throws an elbow that misses. Hopkins uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Bowes's guard. Nice move by Hopkins!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bowes has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Hopkins off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Bowes changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hopkins looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Bowes is putting a hurting on Hopkins here, landing some big shots from side control.
Bowes tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Hopkins can't do much from the bottom here.
Hopkins is looking to reverse the position.
Bowes throws a strike aimed at the side of Hopkins's head but Hopkins avoids it well.
Bowes tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.

Bowes has his feet on Hopkins's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

Bowes needs to keep his hands up - Hopkins had a free shot at his head there.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Hopkins, as that shot connected.

Bowes closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Hopkins's guard.

Bowes wants to pass the guard but Hopkins is keeping the position.

Bowes postures up.
Bowes postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Bowes postures up in Hopkins's guard and throws a big left but Hopkins blocks it.
Bowes throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Bowes throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Hopkins works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Hopkins is trying to control the position but Bowes postures up.
Bowes stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hopkins swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Hopkins is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Bowes throwing strikes but missing.
Hopkins bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bowes's guard.

Bowes pushes Hopkins off and gets back to his feet.
Hopkins misses with a double jab.
Bowes throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Hopkins on the side of the head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bowes uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Hopkins.
Hopkins slips a jab from Bowes.
Bowes throws a lazy right hand but Hopkins sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Bowes misses the jab.
Hopkins scores with a jab to the head.

It looks like Jesse Bowes has been cut.
Bowes lands the left hand.

Bowes decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's time! Bowes's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Hopkins goes for a small jab and connects. Now Hopkins goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Bowes stumbles back but Hopkins runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Bowes to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Bowes will ever be the same after a knockout like that.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Henry Hopkins!
