The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harding has a takedown stuffed.
Harding will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Petrovich showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Harding.
Harding fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Petrovich throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Petrovich closes the distance and clinches.

Petrovich breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Harding keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A big left from Petrovich misses.
Igor Petrovich seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Harding thows a body shot but no joy.
Harding takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Harding shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Petrovich as he avoids it easily.
Petrovich throws a left and a right that both miss
and Harding counters with a straight right hand.

Petrovich scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Harding looks gassed!
Petrovich throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Harding.
Harding changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Petrovich tries to avoid it but Harding manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Petrovich to the ground. Petrovich escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Igor Petrovich has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jim Harding.
Harding takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

It looks like Jim Harding has been cut.
Petrovich misses with a lunging right hand
and Harding counters with a straight right hand.
Harding walks straight into a right hand from Petrovich - that's dropped him! Petrovich jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Harding from any more punishment! Harding complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
