Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kid Torres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julian Bashir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Torres comes to the cage accompanied by Adagio For Strings. Julian Bashir will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Wesley Smith and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Torres slaps away a takedown attempt from Bashir, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Torres pivots, looking for a leg kick but Bashir is out of range and Torres settles back down.
Bashir throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Bashir steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Torres. That one must have hurt.
Torres throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Torres connects with a solid leg kick.

Torres tries to score with a low kick but Bashir moves his leg out of the way.
Bashir fails with a takedown attempt.

Torres walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Bashir checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Bashir tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Torres manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Torres tried to score with a low kick but Bashir checks it.
Torres fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Bashir is out of range.
Torres throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

Bashir has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Torres.

Bashir on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Bashir shoots for a double leg takedown but Torres sprawls well. He's pushed Bashir's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Kid Torres has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Julian Bashir.

Torres feints and then cracks Bashir's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Bashir down.

Torres tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bashir was well out of range. Poor timing from Torres.
Julian Bashir is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Torres might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Torres tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Bashir wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Bashir content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

That was a close second round but I would say that Kid Torres will probably get the nod.

Torres comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Torres has Bashir pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Bashir is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Torres - that's hurt Bashir badly! Oh, another knee lands and Bashir is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Bashir doesn't seem to be complaining.
