Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rock Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tiny McGee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Johnson scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if McGee can do anything to dispel that myth.
McGee is looking to escape.
Johnson works his foot free and advances to mount.

McGee tries to lock up and control but Johnson gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Rock Johnson has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

McGee instigates a clinch.
Johnson is looking to take this one to the mat.
McGee stops a takedown attempt from Johnson.
Johnson drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rock Johnson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
McGee wants to break the clinch but can't.

Johnson gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Johnson controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
McGee seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Rock Johnson just wasn't active enough.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

McGee is defending well against a takedown attempt.

Johnson has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by McGee after a bit of a struggle.
