Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chris Riley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Konsai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Konsai has chosen The dull razor as his entrance music. Ken Konsai will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Riley shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Konsai manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Konsai is pushing down on Riley's leg trying to pass to half guard. Riley is fighting to maintain full guard but Konsai has managed to sneak the leg through.
Konsai looks to land a strike but Riley avoids it nicely and regains full guard.

We're going to have a standup here because Chris Riley wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Riley manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Konsai on his heels. He'll look to pass Konsai's guard now, I'm sure.

Konsai is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Riley is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Konsai takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Riley could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Riley is pressing down on Konsai's thigh, looking to free his foot. Konsai is holding on for now.

Riley is nestled in close to Konsai, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Riley connects with a nice short shot to Konsai's temple.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Riley, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
