Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fee WIndle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Angry Bird (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Bird does no damage.
WIndle tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Bird manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Bird lands a nice looking body shot.

and Bird makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Bird clobbers WIndle with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Bird throws a right and a left that both miss.
WIndle throws a sloppy head kick and Bird moves out of range easily.
Bird dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

It looks like Angry Bird has been cut.
Bird tries to bum rush WIndle with a series of wild strikes but WIndle uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

and Bird counters with a lovely straight right hand!
WIndle closes the distance and clinches up with Bird, looking for a takedown. WIndle pushes Bird against the cage but Bird circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
WIndle is breathing heavily.

Angry Bird is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Bird throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on WIndle's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Bird dives in looking to finish as WIndle flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Bird's strikes! Bird is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! WIndle's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but WIndle was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
