The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Taro Takaoka and Yukihiro Yamamoto.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Yasutsune, right into the meat.
Yasutsune lands with a thumping leg kick.
Hornblower fails with the takedown.
Yasutsune misses with a leg kick

and Hornblower counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Yasutsune wants to sweep but no luck.
Hornblower wants to control from the top but Yasutsune keeps moving.
Hornblower working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Hornblower is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Yasutsune is just riding it out for now. Hornblower eventually gives up the hold.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Hornblower connects with a nice short shot to Yasutsune's temple.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Yasutsune throws a low kick but Hornblower moves out of range easily.

Hornblower shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Yasutsune but Yasutsune pushes him off and we're back to square one.

It looks like Nathanial Hornblower has been cut.
Hornblower tries for a takedown but Yasutsune sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Yasutsune scores with a head kick. Hornblower tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

A slapping leg kick lands for Yasutsune.
Yasutsune throws a front kick that sends Hornblower stumbling back into the ropes.
Yasutsune fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Hornblower.
Hornblower is breathing heavily.

Hornblower has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Yasutsune.
Yasutsune lands a brutal head kick. Hornblower looks out on his feet and Yasutsune throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
