The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Emerson Jorge and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hurt connects with a leg kick. Black looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Hurt lands a nice hook to Black's body. Black takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Hurt takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Black throws a body punch but Hurt moves out of range.
Black bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Hurt is trying to escape the position but Black is controlling the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
