Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Marcus Stone!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mark St Pierre!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Fedor Mirinova and Illya Tyunina.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stone throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
St Pierre shoots in for a takedown but Stone shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
St Pierre tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Stone was well out of range. Poor timing from St Pierre.
St Pierre shoots for a takedown but Stone saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Stone throws a right hand that St Pierre ducks under and follows up with a left that St Pierre also avoids with ease.
Stone leaves St Pierre with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Stone knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for St Pierre on the ground.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
St Pierre makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Stone reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Stone taps out! Nice BJJ there by St Pierre!
