Couture comes into the arena with wait, nvmnd! thats just the tapping of his cane as he walks. blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Jack Hammer enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hammer fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Couture changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Couture lands a slapping body shot.
Hammer avoids the head kick by Couture.
Hammer misses with a lunging right hand
and Couture counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Hammer thinking.
Hammer takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Jack Hammer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hammer misses with a straight left.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hammer throws a lazy uppercut
and Couture makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Hammer really felt that one!
Hammer looks gassed!
Couture throws a leg kick which misses Hammer's front leg but catches the back leg as Hammer tries to avoid it.
Couture lands a nice shot to the body.
Couture ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Couture scores with a spinning back kick!
Hammer swings widly with a right hand
and Couture finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Couture fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Hammer.
Couture really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Couture lands a jab to the head.

It looks like Jack Hammer has been cut.

Hammer takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Couture lands a nice leg kick that just misses Hammer's sensitive parts.
Good leg kick by Couture there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Couture cracks Hammer with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Hammer ducks straight into an uppercut from Couture and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Hammer manages to regain guard straight away.

Hammer is rocked!
Couture works over Hammer with some ground and pound from guard.
Hammer is still in real trouble! Can Couture finish him?
Couture arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Hammer's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Methuselah Couture!
A relieved looking Methuselah Couture thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
