Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rain Hernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gold Ryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hernandez's entrance music is Crush 'Em by Megadeth. A fine choice. Ryan comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Darude - Sandstorm kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Rain Hernandez had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hernandez lands with a thumping leg kick.
Left hook, right uppercut from Hernandez.
Hernandez pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ryan shoots in looking for a takedown but Hernandez manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ryan's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Hernandez tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Ryan manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Hernandez throws a right and a left that Ryan avoids nicely.
Hernandez throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ryan changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hernandez tries to avoid it but Ryan manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hernandez to the ground. Hernandez escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Ryan had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hernandez defends it easily.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hernandez accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Hernandez throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Ryan.
Hernandez lands a leg kick that knocks Ryan off balance momentarily.
Hernandez takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

and Ryan counters with a series of strikes. Hernandez will be more careful next time no doubt.

Ryan closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Hernandez quickly recovers to half guard.

Ryan is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Ryan stops Hernandez from getting back to his feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hernandez scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Ryan manages to mount him!
Hernandez tries to reverse the position but Ryan maintains control.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Ryan has hold of Hernandez's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Hernandez manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Hernandez wants to hold on but Ryan pushes him away.
Hernandez keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Ryan has control of Hernandez's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Hernandez regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Ryan is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Hernandez is surviving well by controlling Ryan's body position as best he can.
