The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donk throws a right hand that Maxx ducks under and follows up with a left that Maxx also avoids with ease.
A big right from Maxx misses.
Maxx tries for a takedown but Donk sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Maxx takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Maxx throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Nice defenses there by Donk.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Maxx.
Maxx misses with a lunging right hand
and Donk counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Maxx misses the jab.
Maxx fails with the takedown.
Dexon Donk has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of TJ Maxx.
Maxx throws a lazy right hand but Donk sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Donk lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Maxx sprawling to the canvas. Donk follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Maxx hang on?

Maxx is rocked!

It looks like TJ Maxx has been cut.
Donk will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Maxx looks gassed!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Donk scores with a big shot! Maxx's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Maxx! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
