The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blanks lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Roode backs up against the ropes.
Blanks throws a series of strikes that have Roode backpedaling.
Nice shot lands for Blanks.

Oooooh!!! Blanks has knocked Roode down with a huge combo! Blanks steps away and waves a wobbly Roode back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Roode is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Roode stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Blanks.
Roode avoids a punch combination nicely.
Blanks misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Roode takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Blanks misses with a double jab.
Blanks turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Blanks misses with a head kick.
Roode tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Roode is breathing heavily.

Roode moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Blanks connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Blanks lands a left and a right that send Roode crashing to the mat, dazed. Blanks thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Oh Roode is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

It looks like Bobby Roode has been cut.
Blanks plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends Roode swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Roode face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!

Billy Blanks tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
