The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Neponen darts in and clinches Penni up against the cage.
Neponen blocking some punches.
Penni misses with a short punch on the inside.
Nice elbow from Neponen.

It looks like PeeJii Penni has been cut.

Neponen pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Penni looks to land a left hand but Neponen moved out of range nicely.
Neponen moves out of range as Penni strikes.
Neponen shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Penni defends it nicely.

Neponen has closed the distance and engaged Penni in a clinch.
Penni misses with the head strike.

Neponen decides to pull guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Penni has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Neponen to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Penni is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Neponen pulls down on the head and he's put Penni to sleep! This one is all over!
