The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Anni Minnemäki and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Head misses with a hook. Halonen ducked under it nicely.
A looping hook to the body misses from Halonen. Head does a little dance to reset his feet.
Head throws a left and a right that both miss
and Halonen counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Head!
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Head is looking to get to half guard.
Halonen throws some wild stikes that Head manages to avoid easily.
Halonen scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Head?
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Head tries to reverse the position but Halonen maintains control.
Head holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Halonen tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Halonen can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Head is looking to escape.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Head tries to lock up and control but Halonen gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Head keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Halonen sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Halonen avoids the attempt from Head to control.
Halonen prevents Head from getting the reversal.
Head is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Head bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Head misses with the combination.
Halonen just misses with a punch to the body.
No luck for Head with that takedown attempt.
Halonen lands with a hook. Head tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Head fails with a takedown attempt.
Halonen darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Halonen dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Head shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Tarja Halonen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dil Head.

Head fails with the takedown
and Halonen counters with a left to the body.
Head gets caught flat footed, as Halonen shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Halonen slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Halonen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Head on the ground.
Head escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Halonen gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Head is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Halonen looking to pass the guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Dil Head hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Head throws a hook but Halonen avoids it easily.
Halonen closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Head is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Halonen's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Halonen's back!

Head working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Halonen is doing well to defend. Head seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Halonen is forced to tap and this one is over!

A very excited looking Dil Head made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
