Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Princess Bride (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Goncalo Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bride comes to the cage accompanied by Holy Wars...The Punishment Due. Goncalo Alves has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Princess Bride!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Goncalo Alves!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alves misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Alves scores with a leg kick.
Alves uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Bride.
Bride loads up on a big right hand but Alves slips the punch.
Alves throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Bride takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Alves looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
A solid body kick from Alves.
Alves throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Alves throws out a loose jab but Bride uses good head movement to avoid it.
Alves throws a nice outside leg kick.
Bride throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Bride tries to close the distance and clinch but Alves swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Alves blocks a jab.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Alves is defended easily by Bride.
Alves lands a high kick!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bride displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Alves.

Oooooh!!! Bride has knocked Alves down with a huge combo! Bride steps away and waves a wobbly Alves back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Goncalo Alves has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Alves throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Bride counters with a deadly accurate combination that rocks Alves badly! He tries to strike back but Bride puts an end to that with another precision combo that knocks Alves out cold! Oh man, Alves will never hear the end of this one!
