The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thon throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Blast sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Blast misses with an uppercut.

Blast uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Thon.
Blast throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Thon slips a jab and a cross from Blast.
Thon is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Blast.
Thon throws a body punch but Blast moves out of range.

Blast displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Thon throws out the jab.

Blast scores with a hook to the body. Thon takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Thon is trying hard to land a takedown here. Blast sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Blast fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Thon looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Blast scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Thon rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Blast moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Blast connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Thon's hands.

Blast scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Blast cracks a nice hook into Thon's ribs.

Thon takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Blast fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Dickie Thon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Thon is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Blast digs a good hook to Thon's body.
Thon drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Blast connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Thon tumbling to the canvas! Blast pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Thon was done - good stoppage!
