Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Shayloh Archangel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pete Eckhart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Shayloh Archangel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Steve Erwin and Skip Squint.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eckhart is looking to clinch.
Eckhart avoids a punch combination nicely.
Archangel tries to close the distance and clinch up but Eckhart swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Eckhart fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Archangel.

Archangel has managed to clinch.
Archangel stalling in the clinch but Eckhart improves position.

Eckhart pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Nice uppercut there from Archangel.
Archangel looks to land a combination but Eckhart avoids it well.
Archangel misses with a double jab
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Archangel tries to close the distance and clinch but Eckhart swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Eckhart has Archangel up against the cage in a clinch.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Eckhart breaks the clinch.
Archangel avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Archangel scores with a sloppy right hand. Eckhart should have avoided that one.

Eckhart closes the distance and clinches.

Archangel breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Archangel moves into range and clinches up with Eckhart.

Eckhart throws a quick inside leg kick.
Eckhart's jab looks to have found its range, popping Archangel under the eye.
Archangel throws an off balance right hand

and Eckhart counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Archangel swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Eckhart is trying to push Archangel away but Archangel has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Eckhart manages to break the clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Eckhart tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Eckhart scores with a leg kick.
Archangel takes a kick to the side of the head.
Archangel missing with a left hand there. Eckhart was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Eckhart throws a nice outside leg kick.
That kick from Eckhart tenderised Archangel's leg. Archangel is trying to keep his angry face on.

Eckhart throws out a head kick that Archangel doesn't see coming - it connects and sends Archangel crashing to the mat face first! He's bounced up to his knees and is scrambling to get back to his feet and beat the count. He's up on 5 but still looks a bit groggy; will the referee allow it to continue??? He's taking a good look into Archangel's eyes and has decided to let it go on!

Archangel is rocked!

It looks like Shayloh Archangel has been cut.
Archangel swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Eckhart tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Archangel tries to close the distance and clinch up but Eckhart swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Eckhart throws a sloppy head kick and Archangel moves out of range easily.

Eckhart moves into the clinch.
Archangel gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Eckhart tries to break the clinch but Archangel is controlling the position.
Archangel lands with a left to the head.
Archangel is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Eckhart is defending well for now.
Eckhart avoids a wild elbow strike from Archangel.
Archangel is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Eckhart is keeping busy.

Eckhart breaks the clinch.
Pete Eckhart seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Eckhart misses with a low kick.

Eckhart scores a flash knockdown with a right hook that drops Archangel to his hands and knees! The ref pushes Eckhart away as he looks to land an illegal blow. Archangel got an extra few seconds to recover there, which could have made all the differences as he stumbles back to his feet. The referee looks into his eyes and decides to allow the bout to continue. Can he survive?!
Archangel connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Eckhart momentarily.
Archangel keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Eckhart misses with a series of wild punches.
Archangel fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Eckhart gets a clinch.

Eckhart breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Archangel misses with a few strikes there.
Eckhart connects with a leg kick. Archangel looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Archangel connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Eckhart fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Eckhart lands with a kick to the temple. Archangel shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Archangel tries to clinch up
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Archangel is breathing heavily.
Eckhart tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Archangel moves in looking to clinch but Eckhart pushes him off.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Eckhart looks low and kicks high, catching Archangel right on the side of the head, sending him crashing to the canvas! Will he be able to beat the count? 3,4,5 - he's already back to his feet and ready to go! Let's see if he's still with it!
Oh Archangel is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Eckhart connects with a solid leg kick.
A jab from Archangel finds it's way through Eckhart's defenses.
Eckhart uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Archangel.
Archangel seems to have got his legs back now.
Eckhart lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Archangel at a distance.
The fight stays on the outside here - Eckhart looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Eckhart tries to clinch but Archangel moves out of range.

Archangel takes the fight into the clinch.

Archangel escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Eckhart lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Archangel crumples to the floor! Eckhart milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!

Pete Eckhart decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
