PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aiden White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chayo Huerta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Huerta comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Gold Metal kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Chayo Huerta struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 207.0lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chayo Huerta!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Chris Downing and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

White shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. White showed some decent athleticism there.
White looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
White's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Huerta scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but White manages to mount him!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Huerta really doesn't want to stay on the ground with White. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Huerta is in a horrible position here. White smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
White lands a big shot there that rocks Huerta but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

White pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
White lands a big elbow.
BOOM! White connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Huerta has left one of his arms exposed and White doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Huerta screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
