PBP Commentary |
Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cole Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Herschel Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lee comes to the cage accompanied by Disturbed- Indestructible . Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cole Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Herschel Walker!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Chris Downing and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee lands the left hand.
Walker has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Lee finds it's way round the side to connect with Walker's head.
Walker closes the distance and clinches up with Lee, looking for a takedown. Walker pushes Lee against the cage but Lee circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Walker tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Lee counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Lee lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Walker takes a kick to the side of the head.
Lee scores with a shot to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lee connects with a jab.
Walker tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Lee manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Lee feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Walker's calf.
A decent looking cross lands there for Lee.
Walker takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Walker tries to grapple but his opponent circles
letting Lee counter with a right hand.
Walker looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Lee feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Walker's calf.
Lee scores with a shot to the body.
Lee is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Lee fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Walker looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Walker looks gassed!
Lee keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lee lands with a kick to the temple. Walker shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Lee fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Walker has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Good exchange - Lee coming out on top.
Lee circles away from the clinch attempt.
Cole Lee is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Lee lands a jab.
Walker gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Lee.
Lee dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Walker. That did some damage!
Walker wants to clinch
and Lee counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Walker is rocked!

Walker is still on wobbly legs! Can Lee finish him?
Walker tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Lee scores with a counter punch that sends Walker to the canvas! Lee smells blood - he's punishing Walker with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Walker has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cole Lee!
