Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Danny Bille (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Maldini (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jose Maldini has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Danny Bille's chin.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Edson Gomes and Paulo Santos.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maldini pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bille is defended easily by Maldini.
Nice defenses there by Maldini.
Bille will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Maldini rushes Bille and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Maldini is trying to force a seperation but Bille has the dominant position.
Maldini tries to break free but Bille pushes him back against the cage.

Maldini has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Bille uses from the top position.
Bille trying to stand up but can't free himself from Maldini's guard.
Maldini throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Maldini is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Bille got a little sloppy there for a moment and Maldini has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bille has managed to get both his arms back between Maldini's legs - danger averted.
Maldini seems keen to control Bille's posture.
Maldini's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Jose Maldini.

Maldini closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Bille did well to prevent Maldini getting side control.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Let's hope that Maldini has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Maldini thows a huge punch but Bille dodges it nicely.
Maldini passes to full mount!

Maldini is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Bille is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Bille flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Maldini anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Bille and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Maldini slips an arm under Bille chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Maldini has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Maldini is squeezing on Bille like an anaconda would it's prey. Bille fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
