Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Traktor Chain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leon Spyridon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Traktor Chain has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Traktor Chain seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chain lands with a straight right. Spyridon didn't see that one coming.

It looks like Leon Spyridon has been cut.

Chain looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Chain looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Chain postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Spyridon is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Chain, into his guard.

Chain is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Chain is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Spyridon is controlling him well.

Spyridon is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Chain is trying to escape and Spyridon transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Chain is forced to tap! Nice work there by Spyridon! Very nice indeed!
