Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Quint Bingham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aulis Makkonen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bingham comes to the cage accompanied by Hatebreed - Live for this. Makkonen has chosen Metsämiehen Laulu as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Anni Minnemäki.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bingham looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Makkonen is looking for a triangle but Bingham pushes his legs off easily.
Makkonen utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Quint Bingham.
Makkonen lands with a nice combination. Bingham backs away looking to recover.
Bingham's corner calls for a 1-2. Bingham obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Bingham feints and as Makkonen raises his hands in defense, Bingham changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Bingham throws a hook to the side of Makkonen's head but Makkonen sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Bingham lands with a thumping leg kick.
Makkonen feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Binghams jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Bingham shoots in for a takedown but Makkonen shows good takedown defense.
Makkonen jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Bingham missing with a left hand there. Makkonen was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Bingham connects with a crisp jab.
Bingham throws a hook to the side of Makkonen's head but Makkonen sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
A combination from Makkonen does no damage.
Bingham with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Makkonen to score with a decent uppercut.
Bingham tries to score with a low kick but Makkonen moves his leg out of the way.
Makkonen throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Bingham looks for a takedown but Makkonen sprawls well.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Makkonen swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Makkonen is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Bingham's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Bingham's back!
Makkonen is not going to allow Bingham to sit and survive in this position.
