Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gastin Gloc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and kimbo slice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gloc comes to the ring accompanied by Why Can't We Be Friends? by War. Gastin Gloc had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 266.1lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. kimbo slice will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gloc has closed the distance and engaged slice in a clinch.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Gloc.
Gloc tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

slice shoots in and drives through. Gloc sprawls well.

Gloc shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in slice's guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Gloc's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

slice had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Gloc is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. slice Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Gloc's back instead.

Gloc drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and slice dives on top into guard.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

slice is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
slice takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Gloc bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Gloc creates some space and throws a big elbow, but slice sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Gloc is working to tighten is grip on slice's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. slice has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Gloc is really squeezing tight and eventually slice passes out! Gloc breaks the hold and jumps onto the ropes to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
