Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jamison McGowen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Grigoriy Rasputin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McGowen's entrance music is Tomoyasu Hotei - Battle Without Honor Or Humanity. A fine choice. This should be a great matchup!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGowen tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

McGowen fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rasputin manages to avoid it.

Rasputin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. McGowen tries to avoid it but Rasputin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag McGowen to the ground. McGowen escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

McGowen drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Rasputin manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now McGowen has Rasputin in his guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That was a close round but I would say that Jamison McGowen will probably get the nod.
