PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mr Ag (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ag is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Iron Lion Zion. Mr Ag told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Johnson rushes Ag and presses him up against the cage.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Johnson creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Still in the clinch, Johnson scores with a nice short uppercut.

Johnson lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Ag backwards.
Johnson lands a left hand that snaps the head of Ag backwards.
Ag with an attempt at a knee that misses.

Johnson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Johnson cracks Ag with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Johnson clinches up with Ag and pushes him back against the cage.

Johnson shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Ag eats them both and turns towards Johnson to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Johnson circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Ag to the canvas! Ag doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Johnson keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Marcus Johnson!

A relieved looking Marcus Johnson thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
