Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Darren Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Denny Chase (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smith kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is ''Run This Town'' by Jay-Z feat. Kanye West and Rihanna. Chase has chosen Forever as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Denny Chase is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith throws a jab when Chase was well out of range.
Chase throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Chase tries to keep at a distance but Smith has taken the fight into the clinch.
Chase wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Chase wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Smith pulls guard effortlessly.
Chase would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Smith has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Chase off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Smith feints and as Chase raises his hands in defense, Smith changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Chase is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Smith is controlling him well.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The referee asks Smith politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Smith prefers to stall for the moment though.

Chase parries the strikes from Smith easily there. Smith is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Chase to escape.
Chase is looking for a sweep.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
A control attempt from Chase but he's now mounted!
Smith lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Smith looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.

Chase is trying to get back to his feet but can't.

Smith is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Chase can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
A nice elbow there by Smith.
Smith lands a big shot there that rocks Chase but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Smith postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Chase in real trouble here! The ref calls for Chase to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
