Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Nathaniel Price!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Henry Hagan!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Steve Erwin and Damien Edna.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hagan tries to clinch up but Price circles away and keeps his distance.

Price closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Price lands in his opponent's guard.

Hagan thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Hagan doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Price gets to his feet. Hagan looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Price fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Hagan to the ground. Price is now in Hagan's guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Price has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Hagan regains guard immediately.

Price feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Price throws a series of punches but Hagan moves out of range.

Price manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Hagan on his heels. He'll look to pass Hagan's guard now, I'm sure.

Hagan is working an open guard so Price takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Horrible takedown by Hagan or perhaps it was just good defense by Price which made him look bad.
Hagan tries to clinch but Price moves out of range.

Hagan has a takedown stuffed.
Hagan is breathing heavily.
Price avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Price drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Hagan is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Hagan wants to improve his position but Price is controlling well.

Hagan gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Nathaniel Price overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Hagan tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Price manages to move to mount!

Price's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
